The Tale of the Octopus Cookie

I know I've been gone for awhile, I was busy dognapping Ivy's Lindsay and moving to a new place and well....napping, my claire has been working very hard so we take los of dog sleeps together.
But guess what! My barkday was the other day, I am two years old!!! My people brought me home an octopus cookie!

I wasn't so sure about the purple frosting...

I licked it's face off!

And then I chewed off all it's legs! Yumm!

And sang in my head, "Happy Barkday to Me!"

Hana tagged me to tell you all about my secretaries. So I will! Here is a picture of them in Reno.

My claire's main job is to write down my barks and make me seem like a very funny, charming dog. She also gives massages and works with animals, even cats!
My josh's main job is to take me for walks and make sheckles to buy dog food. he works on big boats and also massages people.

They're good people, they didn't rescue me from dog prison like Ivy, they got me when I was 7 weeks old and they were just married. My josh picked me out cuz I was the feistiest one in my litter, I jumped on him and started chewing on his shoe! And did you know my first name was Checker? How silly is that!?

That's me and my josh snugglin', he's definitely a good snugglebummer...
And those are my people!

House-sitting

A couple weeks ago my people's friends had to leave on a trip and they asked us if we could sit on their house and feed their animals. I thought it sounded like fun so I said ok!
This is Tanzi, she is a morgan horse that is VERY tolerant of my herding ways. I ran around her and barked and barked and she didn't bat an eye.

And this...is...Kitty...I think her name should be Lucy-fer because she scared me so bad my claire had to clean up the floor and put her away for the night in a bedroom.

And this is Daisy, the boston terrorist. She is one of the dogs that lives there and also my coworker! Actually, she's more of a boss, but I still think she's cute.

No sleepin'!

Silly Hana and A&S! I am not asleep again, I was busy visiting some of my local dog friends. Here is my friend Hana, her mom says she is kinda chubby, but I think she is rubenesque.

I just love to give her kisses...

Now, I would like someone to explain this to me for I am a puppy and do not understand how the crazy human mind works. Is this funny to anyone else out there besides my people?! They put this on me and laughed and laughed and sang a song about some rock lobsters.

Embarassing...but luckily they made up for it by taking me on a looooong walk, we walked across this bay!! Usually there is water in it, but I think the birds are stocking up and they stole it all.

That was a LONG nap!

Whew! Ohmydogness!! I gotta catch up! Here is what sort of dogventures I have been having.

I don't know if anyone remebers the evil llamas i had mentioned earlier, but I went to visit them again! They were up to their regular tricksies, trying to stare me down and spit on me, but I let them know who was top dog. I yelled and said "Hey, hey, llamas, go pick on someone with as many ears as you! Which is one...which is kinda scary..."

And then we went fishing! If you have never been fishing before, it is so much fun. You get to go real fast in a boat, my claire made sure to keep me on a leash because I kept getting doglusional and thinking i was a fishy and trying to jump in the river. We caught three fish! Well, after a few hours...

So since we had been fishin' so long, my people pulled the boat over and let me dig for rocks, this is a picture of my beautiful river beard.

On the other paw, we went to this thing called Vikingfest. That is my claire holding my leash and her friend from work, she has a boston terrorist that likes to eat people so she couldn't come with us. Anyways, there were a lot of vikings and horses and stuff, it was a good time.

Lookin' at the vikings made us hungry so we went shoppin', I made sure there was frosty paws on the list. Hey, there's a lid on 'em! Woof!

Now this is a sad story, I have a reindeer toy that has become my new favorite. And then my people moved the furniture...

It took some stitches and TLC but he is now almost back to himself.

Happy Belated Hoppy Day!

Hope everydog had a pawsome Easter. Me and my claire got easter presents yesterday! My josh went and got me this neat toy...it's called a "chill pill", you fill it with treats and then you have to pick it up and drop it to get them out. And then I don't know what the pink thing is, but it made my claire yip like a puppy and attack my josh....I think it's what people call a hug.

Anyways, i'll blog more later...gotta get to work!
